I use interactive facsimile articles like this one to preserve copies of my work. Where possible, I've retained the hyperlinks from the original stories. When that's not possible, I adhere as closely as possible to the spirit of and informational content in the original source material. Only links to source documents or web pages are live.

About This Map The KQED editor used Google pivot tables to code the original map. When Google withdrew the technology, the map stopped working. I recreated it using QGIS and its plugins.
